For Zion’s sake...

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
-Isaiah 62

A Nation Born ...

God is active and doing mighty things in our world today. All we have to do is open our eyes and pay attention to His plans.

Israel: Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Centereach Bible Church prays for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel.

We believe in the restoration of the Jews in their own land, also in the setting up of a Kingdom of Righteousness, on earth, by our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall then be King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Can a nation be born in a day? Has a nation ever been "re-born" after not existing for nearly 2000 years? The state of Israel is a reality, ever present in the world's news, and an ongoing fulfillment of their Lord's prophecies and love. It is not a question of when anymore; the scattered peoples are being regathered and the nations watch in disbelief.

Even many people who call themselves Christians or Jews do not believe that God is actively showing the world proof of His existence, and of His promises for His chosen people. According to the doubters and unbelievers, this nation, non-existent for nealy two millennia that today calls itself Israel, is not the Israel foretold to be reestablished and prepared for the King's arrival. They would say Israel is an accident of politics, that just happens to perfectly fulfill statistically impossible prophecies about it's own renewal. To deny Israel it's place in prophecy and the Lord's plan currently unfolding, in nothing less than to deny reality. The nations will see, and for Jerusalem's sake believers should not remail silent.

Did You Know?

The official flag of Jerusalem as shown above is called 'The Lion of Judah'! Revelations 5:5 states: "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
